With a passion for, and access to, the finest cloth in the world, we curate fabric options that work best with the expression and utility of each style and have that special quality of a truly exquisite textile. Just like in a tailor shop, you choose the cloth that speaks most to you and we build with it.
Get Measured Here or There
After choosing your model and cloth you can opt for a stock-sized piece, still individually made, or have your garment made with more customized measurements. We are equipped to do both. No salesperson, stylist, or algorithm can measure you better than an actual master tailor. Via video call, we can guide you through taking your own measurements at home, or, you can choose to come and visit us in our shop. After you order, we’ll walk you through it.
Worth The Wait / Built and Priced for Sustainability
With many of Lackawanna’s products, unlike instant e-commerce, you are commissioning pieces to be made one-by-one, for you, by a small team of experienced artisans. You might wait 5 weeks for a shirt and 8 weeks for trousers, and maybe more for jackets and coats. This is the best model for getting you the best garment we are capable of making.
All of our tailored garments are cut with extra fabric left inside for alter-ability in the future and constructed inside and out using natural materials and sustainable construction. In other words, built to be passed down. It’s a very old model that we’ve used for years with bespoke tailoring and we are now testing with new designs and technology.

History
For many years, I have wanted to see how I could incorporate the beautiful cloth and craftsmanship of bespoke tailoring into men’s casual wardrobes in a meaningful way. After all, many of us spend a lot of our time in clothing that is somewhere between work wear (cotton / denim) and workout wear (nylon / polyester).
Lackawanna is intended to be experimental but relatable; taking cloth, silhouettes, and details that we may recognize from classic menswear and pushing them slightly into the unseen.
With so much time spent in casual clothing, why should we not spend it in something effortless, yet special- made in a very old-world way for a new-world lifestyle? Real craft is worth investing in and your style is worth exalting.
